Christina Fassbender

Christina Fassbender is founder of the namesake fashion label, which stands for sustainable and affordable luxury. As a passionate fashion industry veteran, she and her brother founded Fassbender in 2017. Today, she has joined forces with New York-based creative director, Matthias Louwen, and got the brand onto international stages, like the Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Matthias Louwen

Before taking the position of Co-Creative Director at Fassbender, Matthias has been heading the design and runway teams of well-known fashion houses, such as Diane von Fürstenberg and Alexander Wang. With his creative hand-sketching skills, he is predestined for runway and MTO designs. At Fassbender, Christina and him follow a holistically sustainable approach guided by circularity and innovation.

Find out how to integrate the approach of circular economy into your design pieces by applying new technologies. Finally, Christina and Matthias provide first-hand advice on how to design timeless collections and runway shows more responsibly.
